In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Is It Possible to Move the Resident Services?

It's easy to just slap buildings down when you first arrive on your deserted island getaway in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, without much thought for how that might impact infrastructure and/or growth in the future. If you're not careful, your layout can become quite crowded as new residents and stores arrive. The fact that a conversation with Tom Nook can help with building relocation is fortunate, but what about Resident Services? In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, is it possible to move Resident Services?

You can decide where to build buildings on the island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Switch. You can also move buildings if you change your mind and realize that they aren't where you want them to be.

Resident Services, unfortunately, is the only building in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Nintendo Switch that cannot be moved.

You can choose where Resident Services is placed at the start of ACNH, but it cannot be moved after that. Its initial or upgraded iterations cannot be relocated, so let's hope your initial placement isn't too bad.

The Resident Services tent in Animal Crossing: New Horizons cannot be moved. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, moving the upgraded Resident Services building is not possible.

Resident Services can't be moved, which is unfortunate, but unless Nintendo decides to add functionality at a later date, you'll have to make do with the current location. Giving up all of your Animal Crossing: New Leaf items:The progress of New Horizons up to that point may have been a little jarring.

You'll need a wide open space with no cliffs or bodies of water nearby. The building will appear the next day after you select a new location.
